Let this body dream
A 15 minute standing meditation in the dark in the study. 10:30 to 10:47 p.m.
Standing in sensation. Feeling the effects of a dose of a homeopathic remedy percolate through my body. The remedy is made from bark I collected from a Cryptomeria japonica (Japanese cedar) tree growing in the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Legs firmly rooted in place, finding lift and softness up through my core and chest. I moved slowly, holding my limbs, belly and head tenderly, repeating the phrase, “let this body dream.”
Alice asleep by the radiator. A chilling night, -14 degrees Celsius and falling.
