Dancing elsewhere

10:30 p.m. A two minute dance on the red rug at a friend’s house. Julie Doiron, “The Songwriter” playing in the background. Standing meditation. Rooting. Finding my feet. Grounded.  Small shivers rippling through. Upward lifts and falls. I wonder how Alice is doing?
