Dancing with D & G

10: 30 – 11:15 p.m. Reading A Thousand Plateaus, leafing through sections of “Of the Refrain” and “Treatise on Nomadology: The War Machine.” Sinking into the the armchair in my study, curled up with Alice. Trying to keep pace with the momentum of the text, the rhythm of the langauge. Thinking about how Deleuze and Guattari reconfigure bodies and biologies, about the historicity of their models of biology, the particular kinds of transcodings and transductions they propagate. What kinds of machinery inflect the biologies they conjure?  I’m reading sideways, half in the text half in dream time. I get up and start to move.  Remodeling my body. Reconfiguring its milieux. The intensities. Kinds of excitability and transductions through.
