Bending time with Miles

11:00 p.m. A 10 minute dance in the study with Miles in the background. Listening body. Body bends time with music. Music reworks time. Listening body finds another arc through. Taking pleasure in movement. In letting my body taste the sounds, chew on them. “Timbre” here as a kind of transduction. Playing in time as expression. As interpretation.

It was a cold, cold night. Alice on the armchair. Preening. Natalie downstairs preparing for her job talk. Her Mom is alseep in the spare room. I’m exhausted. Drawing posted 2 days later.
