Gestus

Dancing affinity while reading Unmaking Mimesis by Elin Diamond. She writes on mimesis and gesture in the context of theatre and performance. Towards a feminist gestic criticism. I resonate with her, and want to read more. I’m trying to approach drawing a little different. How can line inscribe movement? How can I hitch a ride on the qualities and characters of movements and feelings? This will be an adventure.
