Building dances

8:30-9:15 p.m. A Second Floor Collective evening of creating. Dancing with Ana Francisca at Dovercourt House. She had found 6 pieces of wood of varying lengths, used to prop open windows. We improvised with them, first using them to build little worlds to dance inside of, and later as extensions of our bodies and limbs. Such good play. I danced upstairs at the contact jam from 7-8 p.m. A series of wonderful dances. I feel well danced and well loved. It was a lovely warm day, part sun, part cloud. It’s cooler now. Alice is sitting by my feet.
