Nettles
10:00 p.m. A 5 minute dance in the study after sipping a cool infusion of nettles. The liquid is rich and vibrant green. I sip it slowly. It fills my throat and travels down into my stomach. Pooling. The dance that proceeds is slow and even. The rhythm is gentle. Eyes mostly closed, I turn inward. Rotations. Step by step. Rolling to the ground. Limbs precise. Centred. Calm. This is a subtle awakening. An incorporation. My attention is focused on the liquid in my belly. Alice is downstairs. It snowed today!
