dance #157, rain-ride Rain-ride

10:00 -10:20 p.m. Riding home from Dovercourt House with Alo in heavy spring rain. Abundant water splashing all around. Soft drops multiplying. Ricocheting. Splashing. Splattering. Gushing. I lean into the wet and ride through. Home now, and dry. As I draw I tune into the clattering of water rushing and gurgling in the eavestrough out in front of the house. Alice is watching. It’s been a grey and rainy day.
