Nomadic science, Take I
10:00-11:00 p.m. Nomadic Science meets for the first time in my living room. A dance with Marcinku unfolds in and through cardboard formations and deformations. A duet wrapping and unwrapping through ripping cardboard. Building bodies with new appendages. Frantic energies mix and clash. Simon reads, stitching sentences from Sensitive Chaos to those from Libidinal Economies. Don’s guitar creaks and wails. Chaotic. But there’s a another energy under the ragged surface of the cardboard. The surfacing of softer bodies. There’s much laughter and silliness. How will this come together for a performance? Who knows! It rained most of the day. I went running when the rain paused. Alice is on the hunt for a playmate.
