Blood and bones
8:30-9:30 Dovercourt House. The Second Floor Collective Dances. Alo reads fragments from Anne Michael’s Fugitive Pieces. I dance with the language of bones, blood, and decay coursing through my movements. The dance pulls through curling, coiling hands. Wrenching movements. Smooth movements. Sinews. Drawing blood out of bone through putrid water. I feel tiny in this grand studio, carving out little spaces with this text. Home now. Alice is quiet, elsewhere. It was a cool, grey day. I ran with the sun in the afternoon.
