Horses

dance #168, horses

4-5 p.m. Premier Dance Theatre. The final performance of Tono by Red Sky dance company. Horse spirits course through the movements of this choreography inspired by Mongolian Shamanism. Galloping rhythms. Contorting movements. Intensities and violence. Birthing. Celebration.  This was a powerful piece. It was a long, slow, grey day. Alice is here with me while I pose the following morning.
