Energized

7:45-8:00 p.m. A dance with Zita at the Wednesday night Jam at Dovercourt House. An energized, strong, dancerly dance. Weight gets thrown. Lifting, lunging, jumping. Grazing the floor. Dramatic angles and accents. Backs arching. The drumming morphs into piano trills. Later I danced with Alo while Gabby read from George Elliot and Shakespeare. Some seriously wonderful dancing ensued. Alice was with me, cooling off on the porch while I drew later that night. It was a hot, sweltering day. I posted the following night.
