Belly

8:30 p.m. Hands on Leah’s very pregnant belly. “Sometimes she gets shy,” Leah explains. And yet, the baby moves. Subtle swimming motion, sliding past. Little limbs punctuating taught surfaces. Wonderful!

I’m trying out my travel sized sketch book. Getting ready for a month on the road. Alice is on the bed with me while I draw. It was an unbelievably beautiful day, clear and bright.
