Night scenes

12:30 – 1:00 a.m. Patio dances. Candles burning. Laundry hanging overhead. I dance with a friend on the patio under a rising half-moon. City bright and so quiet. Playful night. Some dances happen with the garden and the city. Slow articulations filling space. Gentle body openings. Bones rearranging. Alice chatty and pacing along the perimeter of the fence. The day was sunny. The night is cooling.
