dance #69, rehabilitating with miles

11:30 p.m. A 10 minute rehabilitaton dance in the study to Miles Davis, Ascenceur pour L’échafaud. Miles trumpeting in the background. I can hear the whistles signalling the end of the set. Stretching. Aligning. I started the dance playing with the idea of “affecting time.” Music does this. Dance does this. Dance can bend time. Morph space.

It was a cold night. Crescent moon. And I think that was Saturn hovering up there.  Bright planet. .Alice isn’t around when I draw. But she’s here with me now calling out for love the next day while I post.
