Rain-clouds-trees-planes
10:30 p.m. A one minute composition standing in the doorway that looks onto the patio. The door is open to and frames the wet, cold, windy night. The sky is bright with city life. The clouds are low and moving fast across the sky. South-eastward wind blows the tree limbs the same direction. The treetops shiver with each gust. A plane crosses the sky, following the same arc. The wet city is loud, everything is splashing, gushing, running. My dance follows the rush southeastward, arms and spine rhythmic with the city sounds. Alice must be downstairs somewhere. She caught a baby mouse last night and was not pleased when I rescued it.
