Reiki in Manhattan

11:30 p.m. A friend gives me reiki while we sit outside enjoying this fine night on a patio. The energy gathers inward, curving, lifting upward. I stand to feel the energy move. The movements lift, then fall, crumpling inwards. I’m repeatedly drawn downwards. Lifting then falling. It was a beautiful sunny day and clear night. A few stars glittered through the city skies.
