dance #212, aspen trees at duskAspen trees at dusk

7:00 p.m. A 10 minute dance in a field of wildflowers at the Prajna mountain forest refuge. I stand bare foot facing a tall stand of aspen trees, their trunks aglow in the dying light. Moths pretending to be hummingbirds flit through the field. My dance takes in this world and lifts upward with the trees. Finding articulations for things unspoken. The days here are beautiful. A sprinkle of rain in the afternoon brings welcome moisture to this parched land. I draw by flashlight in my tiny yellow tent.
