Equinox II: Vulnerability and power

10:25 p.m. A 5 minute dance in the study. Today is the real equinox! Sipping burdock tea. I let a dance emerge. I move through a range of emotions. Ordinary affects. Vulnerabilities course through my tissues. The dance taps into sources of power I didn’t know I had. Arms powerful, generating rapid cycling oscillations in front of my body as I rotate through the space. Mouth generating sounds like a rushing river. Weaving a fabric-like thickness. Alice calls out to me while I dance. There are raccoons in the streets screaming. Dogs barking. Alice listens, nonplussed. The day was humid, overcast. Air thick and sweaty, then rapidly cooling.
